OUR SOCCER TEAM
BUSC Fall & Spring Recreational Soccer Program (KYSL)
Klamath Youth Soccer League (KYSL) offers a recreational soccer experience to players in grades K-8. All interested players that do not play or are not registered on a classic or high school team are welcome to participate. The recreational soccer program is designed to provide a fun, and positive sports experience for children, and to provide basic skills for all our players. We strive to promote, teach, and govern the game of soccer on an organized basis for boys and girls. We strive to provide a program that is enjoyable and rewarding for all participants. We encourage courtesy, proper conduct, and respect for players, officials, coaches, and spectators. We encourage this to all players, officials, coaches, and spectators alike. We promote good sportsmanship and strive to develop leadership.
SEASONS
We have a fall season and a spring season. Both seasons run for six weeks each. Our fall games begins the second week in September and end six weeks later. Our spring games begin the second week in April and end six weeks later.
COST
Each season is $45. If a player went to Classic tryouts and didn't make a team then the $35 registration fee can be applied towards Rec soccer and they will receive a $10 discount.
UNIFORMS
KYSL will provide the jerseys for our players. However, shin guards, socks, and cleats are the responsibility of each player. Additionally when purchasing cleats make sure you are buying appropriate cleats, not softball or baseball. These cleats can cause injury to other players and we want to keep everyone safe.
